Amy took exceptional care of my dog in my home for two days. She is warm, personal and very responsive. My dog is a rescue with some behavioural issues and Amy asked thoughtful questions making sure she was prepared. She was very flexible when my flight was delayed and I arrived home later than anticipated which I really appreciate. I would happily recommend her!

Amy watched our two kitties and our home for 2 weeks over the Christmas holiday while we were out of town. Our cats both loved her, she send videos and photos everyday keeping us updated which made us feel so happy. The cats were always curled up cuddling with her- they don’t just warm up to everyone! Amy has taken care of my dog and cats a couple times now when I've been away. I have a very timid, large dog who is scared of everyone. I didn't think Amy would manage to get him to feel comfortable around her in such a short amount of time but somehow she won him over. I received updates and pictures each time she checked in on him and took him for walks. She even went out of her way to hand feed him when he wouldn't eat his dinner. Amy has a gentle nature and was willing to put in the effort to earn the trust of my animals. I highly recommend her as a pet caretaker.

Her daily updates and photos contained enough detail to give me a very good picture of how he was doing, and were so appreciated! Amy house and dog sat for us and I can’t say enough positive things about her. She is responsible, communicative, professional, and above all else: a dog lover. She took the best care of our 11 month old Dutch Shepherd puppy and sent updates every day. He is a very high drive and high energy working breed and she was totally unfazed, meeting his needs and keeping him happy, tired and looked after while we were out of town. The house looked even better than when we left it, I highly recommend her services!

I can't recommend Amy highly enough. She took such great care of our cat, sending photos and written updates daily. It made the typically stressful situation of leaving our 15 year old cat to go on a holiday so much more relaxed, giving us wonderful peace of mind. Her communication was quick, kind and honest. How lucky we were to find Amy! We have a senior, blind Maltese who does not like to be left alone for too long. Our girl is a rescue and is a gentle soul who was quite taken with Amy not long into meeting her. It is a comfort to be able to leave the house and know our girl is in excellent hands, will get her medications and be lovingly cared for. Amy is a compassionate, experienced animal lover, is a great communicator and easy to collaborate with. We highly recommend Amy.

Willy

Our dog Willy can be anxious and nervous when not around us. We were skeptical on enlisting a caregiver for a couple hours each night while on our weekend holiday in Nelson BC. All that skepticism was put aside when Willy met Amy from "The Sidekick Crew". Amy was unbelievably caring and loving with our dog Willy for some evening strolls and some hotel company. Would highly recommend Amy for pet services - 10 out of 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ would use her again!

Fritz

I was nervous about leaving my difficult and selective dog for a week, but Amy won Fritz over immediately from the first meet and greet. Through the week, there was was clear communication, lots of photos and contact, and Amy handled an emergency situation beautifully. She was respectful of our home and far exceeded our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Amy for any type of pet care. In fact, our first night back home, Fritz went into the spare bedroom, looking for her !
